Hey friends! Long time no see.

Going straight to the point and without fillers: I recently regained interest in Ragworld and decided I want to focus on my original stuff for a change. 2025 was a year where I dedicated myself almost entirely to fanartz, and it seems that—paradoxically… maybe from burnout, or maybe from playing around with established characters long enough for it to start boring me—it ended up reigniting my interest in my own projects.

If you read the new and shiny About page, you’ll probably get a bit more context about my current approach to my work—especially Ragworld. Bear in mind, I’m still trying to get back into my groove, so things might be a bit shaky at first. Still, I’m hopeful this new era of Ragworld will be more long-lived. I’m at a point in life where I want to commit more seriously to some of my personal goals.

For the record, I’ll also be toying around with the website a bit more. It’s clearly not quite where I want it to be yet, but we’re off to a good start.

October was a quiet month, wasn’t it? Not much activity here... or anywhere, really. Anyway, I’m back with a new episode and some updates. I’ve been taking a break from social media to focus on my personal projects and freelance work. Overall, I’m doing well, even though this isn’t a huge website update. I’m slowly figuring out what I want to do with this place; I have a story to tell, characters to share, and art to archive– When you’ve got all those needs to meet and want to do something about it, you get Ragworld. And you know, it feels good to have this space where I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, the way I want. It’s freeing. I love feeling free to express myself without boundaries.

Enjoy the new episode in the “Stories” section! Also, a quick PSA: I’ll be traveling next month, and December and January will likely have limited activity for similar reasons. Stay cool!

Finally, the first episode of Ragworld is here! You can check it on the stories page. It’s a short one, so don’t expect anything fancy; This is what I’d personally call the “opening scene.” (Also it looks like shit on mobile so please be patient I’ll fix it later *grin)

I don’t have much to add to this update, other than that the Google Form and fake ads thing didn’t happen in the end. I kinda lost interest in the smaller aspects of the website and would like to focus on the bigger picture instead, you get it.

Also, my top priority right now is de-spaghettifying the code for this website. It’s my first one so the structure is all over the place, but I’m slowly figuring out how to do things the right way.

Amazing news—the characters page officially exists! Starring the “main 6” of Ragworld. We’ll be adding more characters to the lineup eventually, once I get around to drawing their renders and writing their descriptions, but this will do for now.

Another announcement: in the following days, I’ll most likely be creating a Google Form for anyone interested in making a fake ad for Ragworld. Nope, I’m not accepting image/link submissions; pretty much it’s gonna be a call for a user list. I’ll ask you to provide your twitter, and if I think you’re cool, you’ll be invited to create an ad for the website. Simple as.

That’s all for this update. As the website grows and the fewer assets I need to draw and code to make, adding more pages will become possible at a faster pace. Now, I’m going to hit the hay—I’m pretty tired.
